Athens alone is worth a trip to Greece.
The Acropolis, the Parthenon, the National Museum, the Plaka area, the Syndagma (Constitution) Square alone are worth to go to Athens.
Athens, capital of modern Greece, at its foundation in 3000 B.C. was a small fortified village at the top of the Acropole. It owes its name to the Goddess Athena who won a fight against Poseidon.
Athens, today, counts about 4 million inhabitants. To discover the city, wandering in through the tiny streets and the popular areas are incomparable: bazaars, gardens, Byzantine churches and magnificent ruins remind the turbulent past and dynamical present of Athens.

Spooky Santorini
Folklore tales unfold the spooky revelations that Santorini is the ancient burial ground to Vrykolakes (vampires). These earthbound supernatural beings were purported to spread evil during both day and night. For some reason the islanders were said to be particularly expert at dealing with these vampires and burying them so they could roam no more. Santorini became known as the Island of the Vampires and surrounding Greek Islanders would bring remains of suspected vampires to the island for proper and permanent disposal. Santorini and other Greek Islands have many superstitions and folklore traditions that still find their place in modern day Greece.
